Note that the seed-oil-bad rule is complicated by the high omega-3 content of flaxseed (linseed) and perilla oil. The former is common in German cuisine, the latter in Korean cuisine. Something to keep in mind if you want to dig deeper, past the simple Pareto rules. But the omega-3 oil in seeds is of the ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) sort, not the optimal form found in fish.
